Park West Kitchen
In this 2001 home, the Owner was looking to do a warm traditional kitchen with a focal point that wasn't made up of a hood and tall tile back splash. I came up with this beautiful Hutch area that integrates with the cabinets around it, but stands out due to its gorgeous finish color. The double drawer refrigerator, double drawer dishwasher and lowered oven and microwave helped make the kitchen more accessible for the Homeowner; who spends part of her time in a wheelchair. The end pantry and wet bar cabinet were modified on site to give her more storage space by the angled walls. By opening up the wall into the loving room it helped move more natural light into the closed off room.
