Moreland Kitchen
This 1960s Kitchen was still outfitted with it's original built on site cabinets that were held together with decades of layered paint and Tile Counter tops. In much need of an overhaul and layout change, the Homeowners came in with a large list of wants and needs. Opening up the wall between the Kitchen and Living Room, Large Island for their children to sit at, functional cabinet inserts and a vented hood were top priority. I was able to hide the HVAC return in the bottom of the pantry cabinet and left the top open for roll-out tray and full depth shelves. I placed a shallow pantry to the right of the refrigerator that allowed for quick access to dry goods. Tray dividers, spice roll-outs, and roll-out trays in almost all the base cabinets left all their cooking needs ready and at their fingertips!
