Grey Marsh Master Bathroom
This older couple was looking towards the future when they came in wanting to remodel their 2004 Master Bathroom. They wanted to do a curb-less shower which they could roll-in with a wheel chair as the years progress. By building the knee wall, we could not only move the shower valve to be used before getting in the shower, but we could also hide the shower floor which was pitched towards the entrance of the shower where the recessed linear drain was placed. We waterproofed and tiled the side of the vanity to prevent water damage that could come from years of using the bench placed just outside the shower. The pier unit on the vanity provides both extra storage space, but we placed electrical outlets inside the cabinet so they could plug in their oral care devices and keep their counter tops clear of clutter.
