Dunes West Kitchen & Laundry Room
Although this house was only build in 2000, the new homeowner couldn't wait to tear out the colorful kitchen Flooring! The existing Kitchen layout was functional but not as open as they preferred. By pushing back the wall by the refrigerator by 32" and tearing out the peninsula, I was able to give them a large Island with two levels, storage, and an overhang for seating. The window seat nook was turned into a wet bar to help with all the entertaining they do. A larger 36" Dual Fuel Range, Built-In Refrigerator, Stainless Steel Farm Sink, and cool color tones gave Contemporary hints to this beautiful Traditional Kitchen. A large and bulky closet was originally used to mask the HVAC return vent. I was able to hide it in a base cabinet so they have plenty of folding space in their new Laundry Room.
