Downtown Master Bathroom
This 1930s Town-home was in need of a more spacious bathroom floor plan, a larger master closet, more user friendly laundry closet and a better storage closet in the guest bedroom. By turning the stacked washer and dryer I was able to stow the unit in a narrower closet behind a set of twin ball catch doors. An identical pair was used for the secondary shallow closet to the left, used for cleaning supplies and needed to be able to fit a vacuum within. The new shallow closet and narrower laundry closet gave way for a alcove in the bathroom to recess a new furniture vanity into. White ship-lap, a large mirror and two wall sconces make this a cozy vanity area seem much larger. Period style penny rounds were used and a custom tall cabinet was made to house extra linens.
