After graduating from Wayne State University, Brittany was eager to begin her career as an Interior Designer. Construction courses were her favorite since she sees a house as a puzzle coming together, with the details making it a solid home. Since there weren't many jobs available in Michigan, she set her sights on older homes and warmer weather! Charleston had drawn her in (over a decade prior!), so with a job offer and a new adventure on the horizon, she packed up her life and headed to South Carolina!
For over 8 years Brittany was the Lead Designer and Showroom Manager for a remodeling company in Mount Pleasant, SC. Brittany was able to reconfigure and transform rooms into dream spaces for their clients utilizing 2020 Design to produce Floor Plans, Elevations, and 3D perspective renderings of their space. After working with the homeowners through revisions and material selections, a color rendering of their new space helped bring their dreams to life!!
Years ago the opportunity for freelance work emerged and the possibilities were ever growing. Over the next 4 years, she worked tirelessly to build the career she truly loves! Although 2020 was a strange year, it also illuminated the work life balance she could have and had been searching for! As HeartFeldt Designs continues to grow, her clients include Custom Home Builders, Remodeling Companies, and Homeowners.
In her spare time, Brittany loves working on small scale projects that allow her creative problem solving skills to shine! Currently, she is focusing on taking HeartFeldt Designs on the road while traveling the globe!
